Cookie Policy
Every cookie and local-storage key this site can set, what it is for, and how to change your choice.

What a cookie is here
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep. Local storage does the same job without sending the value back to a server. This site uses the second one, once, and only after you decide.
While advertising is off — the default until an ad account is connected — nothing is written at all: no cookies, no local storage, no identifiers.
Everything we set
| Cookie or key | Provider | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
takehome-consent | This site | Preference · local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or declined advertising cookies, so the banner does not ask again. Cleared when you clear site data. |
| Google advertising cookies | Google LLC | Advertising · cookie | Ad delivery, measurement and personalization, set only after you accept. Google publishes the exact names and lifetimes — we do not list them here because they are Google’s, not ours, and they change without notice to us. |
Nothing else runs on this page: no first-party analytics, no session replay, no pixel beyond what the ad provider itself loads.
Your choice
The banner appears once, on your first visit with advertising enabled. Accept allows advertising cookies; Decline keeps them off and the ads non-personalized. You can change your mind below at any time.
Browser controls
Every browser can block or delete cookies for a single site — usually under the padlock icon in the address bar, or in Settings → Privacy. Blocking cookies entirely has almost no effect here: the calculator needs neither cookies nor local storage to work, and the only thing lost is the memory of your consent choice.
